• Mark Pope Returns to Kinston as Global TransPark's Economic Development Director (Aug. 11, 2020) 
  The North Carolina Global TransPark Authority has hired Mark Pope to be its economic development director, effective July 15.
• Aircraft Recycling Company Will Invest Nearly $100 Million at the N.C. Global TransPark Creating 475 Jobs (Dec. 18, 2019) 
  Aircraft Solutions USA Inc., a leader in managing aircraft at the end of their service life, will establish a new subsidiary at North Carolina’s Global TransPark to recycle aircraft parts and materials.
• Aviation Company Selects Global TransPark for New Aircraft Paint and Refurbishment Center (Dec. 20, 2018)
  LGM Enterprises, LLC, an aviation company that operates the Fly Exclusive jet charter service, will create 145 jobs and launch a company to paint and refurbish aircraft at North Carolina Global TransPark.
• Global TransPark Serves As Base for Hurricane Florence Response Efforts (Sept. 21, 2018)
  The North Carolina Global TransPark served as headquarters for emergency rescue and response operations in eastern North Carolina in the days leading up to and following Hurricane Florence.
